Nice short hike with some ups and downs. 6 and 9 year olds navigated it well. Not for anyone with mobility issues...they should do North Head Lighthouse instead. 1.1 mile

We enjoyed the winding walk through the tall trees to get to the Light House. The walk was steep in places, doable in good weather for 70+ ages. The light house is interesting and is the place to get the best view of the Cape.

Nice 0.6 mile hike to this lighthouse. There is a visitors center you can take a separate hike to. It's cold and windy in January, but it's a good view.

Lighthouses have long intrigued me. There are TWO lighthouses within two miles at Cape Disappointment. Unfortunately, the lighthouse was closed for repairs.

We made a quick stop on the Jetty Road for pictures of the Cape Disappointment Lighthouse on the way to the North Head Lighthouse. Nice views, especially when we caught a ship coming in.

This lighthouse has a Coast Guard crew stationed for drills or other work. You can get right up to the structure. You have great views of the river and across to Astoria, OR on clear days. The hike is steep so be warned.

The walk up is steep, first on a gravel trail and then up the drive from the Coast Gard station but the view from the lighthouse is beautiful. You may even get a chance to chat with the Coast Guard officer that is on look-out...More

I'm not positive but I'm quite sure you have to have a DP.
