We enjoyed the various scenic vistas as we hiked up to the lighthouse. We encountered two male fawns grazing near the lighthouse who weren't frightened of us being nearby. A must see!

This is not a lighthouse that you can climb It does however provide a great Vista for views of the Columbia River Delta or bar. No whales but lots of fisherman today

The view from the top is still great but, unfortunately the light itself is in poor condition. The hike is steep but short . It is part of the trail system so you owe it to yourself to swing by at least once.

Very hilly climb and the lighthouse isn't open. Views of the mouth of the Columbia River are very nice. Only plus for taking the hike is passing by Dead Man's Cove, which is spectacular. Views of the lighthouse from the Center are sufficient.

Been at this light house a couple of times. Have to walk up a short walk way to the light house. Can walk around the light house and view the ocean.

There is a non paved trail, so if it has been raining ( haha ) it may be slippery or a few muddy patches, still easily manageable for any age and completely worth it, $10 day pass required but works all parks in the area

Attempted the trail on a rainy day. Got about halfway. After much slipping and sliding and the trail becoming uneven and warned that it was worse ahead we decided to abort the mission to do a previous injury. Discovered that there was a perfect view...More

Was beautiful watching the waves come in. Would like to go back when the weather is better, but so worth even in the rain! :)

I'm not positive but I'm quite sure you have to have a DP.
