Love this state park. Lots of super nice sites in each loop. Over the dunes behind the RV you can easily walk to the beach. The sand is WIDE, smooth and clean. Cars can drive on the beach, so watch out for them!
Beautiful camping sites, yurts, and easy access to the beach. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pretty wet in winter, but many sites have enough vegetation to provide some wind break. Best view sites are closer to beach, so if you want winter storm watching, go...More

Stayed here one night on our way south. Loved it! We travel with 2 dogs and it was a great overnight. Off season so extremely quiet. The beach is amazing. The washrooms are new and spotless. Also VERY cold in the middle of winter. Use...More

We spent so much time on that...More
We stayed here for 3 nights. Be prepared to walk, the park is big and it's about a 3/8 mile walk to the beach from most campsites. The beach itself is huge, so you never feel crowded. Awesome sunsets!!!
We stayed at the park for a few days for some Yurt camping. The park is beautiful and the facilities are very good. Yurts are fun spaces.
The beach is very big in all ways. You seems like it is at least a quarter of...More

Otherwise the walk from the trailheads to the beach is about a 1/2 a mile.
Beautiful place and well worth the drive! Safe travels.
