We stayed for three nights in July- What a clean, and well equipped campground! Highlights were the privacy (site 18), the full hookups and the proximity to an ENORMOUS fun beach that we could drive right up on. We spent so much time on that...More

We stayed here for 3 nights. Be prepared to walk, the park is big and it's about a 3/8 mile walk to the beach from most campsites. The beach itself is huge, so you never feel crowded. Awesome sunsets!!!

We stayed at the park for a few days for some Yurt camping. The park is beautiful and the facilities are very good. Yurts are fun spaces. The beach is very big in all ways. You seems like it is at least a quarter of...More

Love the drive there. The camping spaces are secluded and include tables and fire pits. There are numerous trails to the beach. Explore the nearby lighthouse or some of the local seafood.

We’ve been here a few times and love this park. It’s right on the ocean but over a berm. Huge mostly empty beach on Pacific Ocean. Electric and water available. Well patrolled by park rangers. Check directly with park before arrival in winter, your site...More

We took the beach access road so that we could park our pickup truck on the beach and dig clams. I just barely made it to hard sand and saw two vehicles (one another pickup truck) stuck in the sand on the way out and...More

We had the best time, first time yurt camping, brought the two furbabies and can't wait to come back! Pristine park and beach as well. Coastline goes on for miles and miles. Sand dollars to find, logs to sit and gaze out over the water...More

We enjoyed our walk out on the beach. There are five well marked trails through the dunes and tickets of shore pine out to the beach. The restrooms were clean and well kept. We didn't camp, but the sites looked inviting. Definitely a good stop...More

Yes it is. As Bob Z said, you can conveniently drive your car on the beach and enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Just make sure your car has a good enough "clearance" so it doesn't get bogged down in the deep sand. Otherwise you... More
