We have camped at Twin Lakes on a number of occasions and really enjoy how remote it can be. You can hike in, or if you have a good vehicle that sits high and a sense of adventure, you can drive up. Word of caution - its effectively a one way road, so you better be comfortable driving uphill or... More

Twin Lakes was snow free for the first time in three August visits. We made the 7 mile drive up the gravel road and found ample parking at the lakes. There were many people camping but we were able to find a nice spot by the second lake for lunch and some fishing. We caught several small trout on spinners... More
