We've actually hiked the McCormick Forest a few times and enjoyed the setting and scenery each time. It does seem that this spot has become more popular than ever, judging from the number of parked vehicles. There is additional parking available across the street at...More

This trail is beautiful and a great place to hike and you can take your dog with you. It is a great place for a trail run or a family hike. Any age can navigate this trail

What a great escape! Tall forest trees, little critters, and we'll maintained trails made our afternoon stroll so pleasant, we forgot we were near town.

I love having this forest less than 3 miles from my house. If you didn't know better, you would think you had driven an hour away into the hills. The only give away is the sound of freeway traffic on the east side. We like...More

We love coming here as a family, with our dog. It easily accessible, yet feels like we've really gotten away from it all. It's just the right distance of a hike, with a few trail options to keep our preteen daughter engaged but not bored....More
