We had never explored Edmonds and decided to try this beach park. We were not quite dressed for the hike, as it is more challenging than a simple, flat stroll. Some hikers were using walking poles and most were dressed in athletic gear. But we...More

Ok so it is nice to see some land made into a park with forest walks and access to the shoreline but this park has very limited parking at the far east end, no parking a the southwest entrance and it is no way ADA...More

Fantastic all-in-one suburban forest park for hiking and beach access. Parking is tight here, but free. Note - to get to the beach, it's about a mile hike through the forest trail. There is an alternative route and small parking lot, but it's not well...More

It is fun once you get down there but it is a long climb back up. There are stairs, so that is easy, but there are hundreds of them! Not recommended for young hikers unless you are prepared to carry them up the many stairs!

Here is one of the wonderful things about the Snohomish County Park system. They have created a wonderful beach and picnic green at the mouth of an old growth draw, that can only be reached by hiking the 1.25 miles down a shaded path that...More

A great place to visit in the winter but in the summer this place does become very crowded. In spring seals nest on the beach so it will be closed.
