The only thing you need to be aware of if your going to go boating at this lake is to watch out for the stumps!! there are many submerged stumps throughout this lake, if you stay away from the shore more towards the middle of the lake you will be fine, but when heading in towards shore have some watching out for submerged stumps.

Amazing camping on a beautiful lake. This place gets super busy during summer months but is a really nice local place to enjoy some time away

The family and I have gone to Alder Lake for years to go boating with friends or by ourselves. We have gone all over the lake in our boat. We have played in the swimming area and gone for walks on the trails. We have not used the campground.
The only negative thing I have to say is the boat launch parking lot is tiny. Many times we've pulled into the lot and see cars parked in the spots meant for truck and boat parking.
During good weather, if you want to go boating get to the park early the lot fills quickly.

We have been going to this park for over 12yrs. It has really nice restrooms, and showers Boat Friendly with ramps.
The camping areas are beautifully placed surrounded by trees , The Damn for power at the edge of park with the info on it also! Alder lake goes from Elbe on highway 7 or vice versa with picnic areas and pull outs with gourgeous views and all have restrooms and a couple between all f them. I don’t know if they have life guards . The park rangers. Live on site at Alder Lake .
Highly suggest visiting Alder Lake!!

What a fun day at the lake on the 4th of July. We were able to find a place to put up a shade tent and our lawn chairs, a picnic table with a view of the lake and a park provided grill were we were able to grill hot dogs and hamburgers. The swim area is great for kids as well as adults . There are camping areas and a place to launch your boat.

Decent lake, clean and enough space for the whole family. There is even a protected area to get out of the weather if mother nature takes a turn.
