    Great gem only 2 and a half hours from Spokane

    Over the years I have visited every month of the year but my 2 favorites are late September after the Larch have turned and January when the snow is piled high. A great place for backpacking and backcountry skiing.

    Great horseback riding in the Salmo - Gpsey Meadows

    It is above Sullivan Lake and is a bit of a drive, worth the lenght if time to get there. You will have the place to your selves, make sure to bring a hand saw fort he trails. there is still snow in places on...More
