We had our family reunion at the lake this weekend. It was very nice, peaceful. Campsites are private and clean.

When most Seatteites think of Eastern Washington, they think of the desert-like conditions of Moses Lake, but NE WA is nothing like that. There are mountains (not like the Cascades but 4000 - 6000 ft is still respectable) and tons of trees - lodgepole pine,...More

This area is beautiful and worth the ride. I would reccommend obtaining a trail map from the Forest service, or better still, a book describing in detail where to hike depending on your level of fitness and the duratinn and distance desired (ie{ "100 Hikes")

Quiet, lots of wildlife and scenic. Not that far from Spokane or Wenatchee, nice camping and borders Lake Roosevelt which has great boating , camping and fishing.

We checked out a variety of campsites that would allow our 29 ft. RV into sites. Out of 10 sites, we liked and knew only about 4 would be the right size for our rig.

Amazing old-growth forest, tons of parks and trails. Take your time exploring. This is a peaceful get-away spot and not too far from civilization.

Endless terrain. There are Mountains in Washington East of the Cascades, minus the crowds. Endless wild terrain to explore.
