Went to get further info after reading the terrific reviews only to find out that the owners have retired and the winery is closed. Probably shouldn't be #7 on Trip Advisors list of things to do in Blaine!

We had to change our plans on our trip to Blaine this weekend...and found this winery online. Took the country road back to a little peace and quiet get away. We were received warmly by the owner who attended to our every need. He brought...More

We were staying at Semiahmoo and looking for things to do and came across Dakota Creek Winery. It was definitely worth a stop! They had a nice patio where we tasted in the sun with our dog alongside. They really made us feel welcome giving...More

A friend told us to stop here while we were staying in Birch Bay. So glad we did. All the wines we had were phenomenal! Big, bold reds and nice dry whites. The owners are very nice and were super accommodating with our kids.

Jill and Ken are great hosts and we have always enjoyed our visits. We've attended when they have had the Arts Festival and music and also have visited and participated in the grape stomp. Any time we've visited, it's been a welcoming fun experience.

We love Jill & Ken and little Zoe. This trip was special because of the release of 5 new wines and the Art Festival that was happening on-site. There are many great wines - cheese & crackers available - and patio tables and chairs for...More

Almost didn't go in when I saw this was only a shed and no sign of wine production, but glad that I did. One of the best Rieslings I've had (2010) and couldn't resist a bottle of the Doggone Good Red they had just released....More

Ken and Jill are great owners. And their dog, Zoe, happily greets all. Ken and Jill are very knowledgable about their wines and will pour you samples for you to taste. They also sell cheese plates, which are great. They have a great outdoor area...More

Friendly folks, a beautiful setting for tastings, and absoslutely top-notch wine. This is the place to visit for a relaxing hour or two - or better yet for the whole afternoon.
