Living in Bellingham all my life, I have seen many changes. The Lake Padden Park has not been a lake that's been there 'forever.' Pssssttt….it's man-made. Yep, not a natural lake but the trees and greenery are pretty real. No matter what the season, there...More

With so many trails. We just took the loop round the lake, just 2.8 miles, but so beautifully peaceful. It was lovely to see so many people enjoying and exercising in the fresh air. Good restrooms!

This was the third time that I played this golf course. It has deteriorated since the last time. The tee boxes were almost bare but the greens were in reasonable shape. The fairways could use a little fertilizer and water. I spoke to the clubhouse...More

No motor boats allowed making it very serene and quiet. There's an extensive trail network and a generous amount of parking. If you want to see the dock in the main pic here with less walking keep driving past the first parking area.

I played golf on the course again last August and September, it’s a course must play. Course is besides the beautiful lake with full of older trees. Absolutely beautiful !

Lake Padden Park, just off Samish Way and slightly to the southeast of Bellingham, has a pleasant path around the perimeter of the lake, being about a four mile hike. One section on the south side of the lake is a stiff uphill climb for...More

This is a lovely spot for kayaking or canoeing, for walking on paths around the lake, for lounging on lawn, for picnicking, for letting kids play on the playground, for swimming in designated areas. The absence of power boats makes it much more peaceful than...More
