There is a uniqueness to Fairhaven. It's historic. It's unique. There are distinct shops to browse through, great coffee shops, bookstores, not to mention fantastic views of Chuckanut Bay.

This is a regular stop on our trips to Bellingham. The stores and coffee shops are always interesting. The fish and chips are good and the oil and vinegar store is excellent.

This was my first trip to Fairhaven, having been to Bellingham a few times. The Fairhaven downtown is charming and full of great places to see, shop, and eat. A great place to pass a lazy morning or afternoon.

We've been here before, and enjoyed it so much that we went back again. There are a lot of cute shops, even more great places to eat, and the people-watching is always fun. This whole area is just a lovely way to spend an afternoon.

We stayed in a local hotel and ecplored the area on foot. There’s a wonderful independent bookstore, clothing and shoe stores as well as many good restaurants. In addition, there’s a self-guided tour of old houses of the district.

Great spot to stroll for any age. Park. Benches along the streets with statues of historic characters - Mr. Fairhaven, Mark Twain, etc. Small shops, restaurants, book store. My grandson enjoyed riding the giant rooster statue and the old bus now a lunch spot.

Many shops are open in Fairhaven on Sundays. Most restaurants are open on Sundays; many offer brunch menus. Also, there are often special events on the weekends, including Sunday.
