Five of us spent a cool damp Bellingham Saturday in this quaint tasting room. There was a friendly dog to greet us and warm fire to keep us comfortable. The service was great and included some chocolate tasting with some wines.

This was a great little winery that offers many other things. Painting classes, come and bottle your own days, excellent chocolate in addition to great wines. Many of us there today bought several bottles and bags of chocolate to enjoy later. I plan on bringing some other friends there soon.

My Husband and I did the wine tasting, which you have to pay for if you do not purchase a bottle. We bought a bottle and sat outside on their open lawn furniture and enjoyed- it was a great time-Thanks!

We stumbled upon Vartanyan about 3 years ago while on the Whatcom Farm Tour. What an amazing find! The wines are fantastic and the venue is very comfortable. Margarita is very passionate about her work and loves to invite her guests into conversation about the wine. She really creates a wonderful environment for tasting and learning about wines, Check the... More

Usually you find 1-2 wines at the winery you like. Here I absolutely love every wine I tasted. They open different wines every weekend, check their Syrah and Tempranillo, if they have those wines open for tasting. Balanced, with blossom of flavors, the wines have long finish and smooth and complex aftertaste. Great outside picnic area, but weather wasn't welcoming... More

Very nice, small, family owned winery. Love their red wines: soft, smooth, well-aged in barrels and very reasonably priced. Wish the weather was better to sit on outside patio with the glass of wine, the view of Mount Baker is incredible. And the greeting teem of 2 winery dogs was so welcoming. Definitely worth a visit.

Wines are very oxidative in style. What they do is probably just fine for people who just want to have fun, or take a picnic along on a nice day (the grounds are pretty), but if you're a serious kind of wine person (like me) this is not going to be your kind of place.

It is always a great time at Vartanyan Winery. The owner is always a delight! The wines are excellent. There is a nice picnic area with gorgeous views of Mt. Baker. In the summer there is music on Saturday's. There are special events through out the year and sometimes you are lucky enough to do some barrel tasting. The cost... More

Not in the mood for gambling, I stopped by this little winery. I have to say, it was one of the best decisions I made. The owner was very friendly, and answered all the questions I had. The views were gorgeous and next time I am in town, I plan on stopping by again.

We had a delightful time at the Vartanyan Estate Winery. It is very easy to find from their web site directions and it is tucked in an out of the way corner of Bellingham with a great view of Mt Baker. We were greeted immediately and invited to the wine tasting! All the wines were terrific and the cost of... More
