The museum has a wonderful collection of Native American Indian Basketry but eh real treasure is the magnificent collection of birds on the top floor. There is also a history of the development of Bellingham and some large romantic period paintings of mountains.

As a kid I went to this museum in the 50's. Went again with my kids and with grandkids. I am not sure which time I was most thrilled. Worth the trip.
