Opted to take a run through the park while visiting Bellingham. It's a quick loop trail, falls are very close to parking. Extremely friendly people on the trails. Felt completely safe running solo and being female.

Whatcom Falls Park offers paved trails and dirt trails for biking. Trails are relatively easy, great for people of all ages. The scenery is awesome with trails along the river offering great views of waterfalls and rushing water.

Coming from Southern California, I've never seen this much green or water ever. These easy-to-hike trails are near a neighborhood and a truly hidden treasure.

This beautiful park is just minutes from anywhere in Bellingham. Easy access with an immediate view of the falls on a lovely stone bridge is amazing. The trails are well cared for and a little rain does not affect the trails. Scenic and easy hiking with great facilities near the parking lot. There is even a fish hatchery within a... More

This is a lovely park right in Bellingham. There are several routes to hike through the park, there is a WPA bridge that offers a beautiful overlook of the waterfall. While we were there, a deer ran across the stream above the fall and crossed the trail right in front of us!

There's a great walk on the old railroad right-of-way, about 3 miles one way (6 miles roundtrip). Pretty flat, with a couple great waterfalls and glorious views of the lake.

All of the above, actually. What a fantastic place to stroll! My favourite is the beautiful stone bridge, with ferns growing from it. It really speaks to tradition and craftsmanship. But those falls are something as well! With all the moisture, the enormous trees are dripping with moss and ferns, so gorgeous! And the trails seem to go on and... More

It is beautiful for sure but there are a lot of unsavory individuals roaming around and I would not recommend this park to anyone

This is an easy side-trip 5 minutes from the freeway as you pass through or a clutch afternoon pass-time. The waterfall is down a paved path (hill), and viewed from a gorgeous bridge. The very well maintained paths lead you through the forest and along the river if you're in the mood to explore. You could spend 10 mins here... More
