Amazingly beautiful park with terrific and moderately challenging paths. Close to Bellingham downtown. One interesting side activity is watching adults, who presumably have little to live for and/or have failed to find meaning or excitement in their lives, jump off rocks into water that is...More

This is a peaceful, cool and restful place on a hot summer day. There are waterfall and bridge that are very attractive to take pictures.

This is an amazing place to swim, walk, run, or just spend an afternoon exploring. The trails are magical on a sunny day and the water feels great!

Whatcom Falls Park offers a great collection of walking and biking trails. Most are nice and flat, wide enough to walk together. There are some more rough trails, but they are optional. Good views overlooking forests, streams and waterfalls. Also some nice open grass areas...More

Must visit this gem. We went in not knowing what to expect, maybe a short little hike. We came across a gorgeous oasis. Take towels and water shoes.

The trail is in the middle of the parking lot to the left if you are driving in. I did not do the whole trail only to the bridge where the main falls are.

Yes, there are many places in the park to read a book. If you want to be near the falls, I would of course bring a folding chair or spread a blanket.

you can do in as little as 10 minutes. the falls are right off the parking lot. if you follow the trails you can walk for as long as you'd like.
