We came here for the first time yesterday and enjoyed the trails, bridges, waterfalls and hatchery. It's a little gem in Bellingham and very close to Western WA University. It's a great place to come for all ages as the trails are easy. The bikers...More

This is a gem of an urban park. Love the hiking trails, the WPA bridge, and, of course, Whatcom Falls.

Highly recommended by locals. Kind of a small parking area. The falls are easily seen from the old stone bridge near the parking lot. Good set of trails if you want to wander farther.

Lots of trails for ambling through the trees and ferns. Can be a bit muddy during rainy season, but also magical then as well.

Very unique hiking trails with interesting water features. You can feel somewhere else while being a local. Highly recommend, easy hikes available with some steep areas. Something for everyone--I'm glad it was recommended to me!

This place is a wonderful collection of walks - sylvan, streamside, lakes and marshes. Traills are generally well maintained and well-marked. Wonderful trees and spectacular water-falls.

Yes, there are many places in the park to read a book. If you want to be near the falls, I would of course bring a folding chair or spread a blanket.

you can do in as little as 10 minutes. the falls are right off the parking lot. if you follow the trails you can walk for as long as you'd like.
