This is a beautiful park. The waterfalls are so pretty and the swimming hole is great family fun. It is slippery, so water shoes are definitely recommended, and there is a current so take precautions. We took some gorgeous photos and had a great day...More

We were looking for a new trail to get our power walking done and decided to try Whatcom Falls Park. It did NOT give us a workout whatsoever, but was a very pretty place for a leisurely walk, beautiful falls and picturesque ponds. A good...More

Experience nature at it's best. Sound of water falling, people laughing, smiling, having fun, hiking, exercising, or just strolling around, makes your trip worth it.

I love looking at the beautiful waterfalls, and enjoying the lush greenery and joy of the outdoors. There are some muddy spots and mosquitoes depending on the season, but overall it is a beautiful park for a walk.

Our office staff went there to take a Christmas picture. What a beautiful background it made for our photo. Great place to take a hike or just a nice quiet walk. It's a must see if you're in Bellingham and like to visit parks.

Loved the fish ponds and the hiking trails along the river. There is a very cute bridge over the waterfall and lots of runners enjoying the trails.

Great like with trails going up and down along the river. Good place for a run or a bike ride. Kid friendly and places for little one to run wild.

A nice walk in town down by the hatchery. Nice wide walking path and a pleasant detour. Wouldn’t do this one after dark though. Homeless camping

Outstanding, easy walk in the woods. Go any season. Follow the creek through and even out of the park into Bellingham.

The trail is in the middle of the parking lot to the left if you are driving in. I did not do the whole trail only to the bridge where the main falls are.

Yes, there are many places in the park to read a book. If you want to be near the falls, I would of course bring a folding chair or spread a blanket.

you can do in as little as 10 minutes. the falls are right off the parking lot. if you follow the trails you can walk for as long as you'd like.
