The house is remarkably well preserved. We were greeted by Bruce, a man blessed with remarkable knowledge of Thomas Jonathan Jackson, and the rare skill to transmit his knowledge to all people. Bruce spoke of Stonewall the house, and the unpleasantness between the states with...More

We dropped in here because the Civil War Museum on Loudoun Street was unexpectedly closed. Our guide Reba was so informative and entertaining that she made the tour delightful. If you are interested in Jackson, the Civil War, or just in history, this little gem...More

We were visiting Winchester and while at a associated location we were sold a value ticket package for 3 sites. This was one of the 3. So glad we made the purchase and got to see al 3 on our 2 day visit.

I was geocaching the Winchester area and visiting historical sights for the day. I found the geocache and checked out the grounds but the building was closed on the day that I was there.

$5.00 adult, $4.50 seniors, less for children. Best value, a $10.00 ticket for three attractions: Jackson's HQs, Washington's Office and Abram's Delight, ticket good foe a full year.
