This is really a must for history buffs, especially Civil War History. This home in Winchester served as General Jackson's Headquarters during the winter of 1861-62. It was here that he planned the Valley Campaign to protect the bread basket of the Confederacy. Our tour...More

Stonewall Jackson Headquarters was such an insightful tour. It's basically an overview into Mr. Jackson's life. The museum featured a lot of original pieces that belonged to Jackson, for example, a table, his hair, and prayer desk. It only cost us $5.00 a person. It...More

We really enjoyed our tour of this home. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and enjoyable. Stairs would be a problem for anyone who couldn't navigate stairs.

To learn more about the American Civil War, the people of Winchester and Stonewall Jackson, this is an excellent place to visit, view the period artifacts and talk to the staff.

Wifee and I visited this home and Brian gave us an excellent private tour. He also suggested we buy a multi pass so we could visit Abram's Delight and George Washington's Office Museum.

$5.00 adult, $4.50 seniors, less for children. Best value, a $10.00 ticket for three attractions: Jackson's HQs, Washington's Office and Abram's Delight, ticket good foe a full year.
