Stonewall Cemetery was just part of a larger cemetery. Unless you just like visiting cemeteries, this was not really special. The National Cemetery next door was more interesting in my opinion given the history of the place.

We are history nuts and have a great interest in The American Civil War. Knowing what we do, walking about we recognized many names involved in America's history. This is a place needing to be preserved and respected.

Place was nice, lots of monuments for the different confederate states. Big monument for the unknown dead from the civil war. Down load the app or scan the QR code for a detailed map of the note angles buried here.

Here are many interred heroes of the revolutionary war and the civil war- Mosby, Morgan, etc. The grounds are well-kept and all of the monuments are striking. Well worth the time to visit.

It's worth the visit. There are a lot of soldiers' graves there. This has a historical value as well.

On these scared grounds you will find the founding families of Winchester, revolutionary war heroes (Daniel Morgan), Civil War heroes (Ashbys) and the unknown soldiers! Very peaceful and assorted walking pathways.

Interesting location with several prominent gravesites including Revolutionary War Gen Daniel Morgan. Hard to find the entrance.
