After our trip to Historic Jamestowne, we drove over to Jamestown Island and did the loop which is just mile after mile of gorgeous scenery! I can imagine people living in the 17th century, working at the Glasshouse or fishing, or just enjoying the view...More

After you have finished the site you can take a ride of 8 miles around the Jamestown Island and see nature in it's purest form. See Bald eagles and crab's.

What a great place! Better than the mock settlement. Because it is true place and factual THROUGHLY enjoyed our visit and will return to see what the archeologist have further discovered !

I had a great time seeing all the things about Jamestown. When you are in the area I would highly recommend you visit this place.

Highly recommended! Not well advertised but well worth it... I actually prefer this to the settlement.

we went to jamestown settlement it was great, but they really don't advertise for the national park, it was well worth the money, & I would go back to the park again, compaired to the settlement!! Nice surprise We didin't relieze it was even there!!

There are actually two things to visit. The National Park Service operated archeological part called Jamestown Settlememt. You can eat outside at the cafe right by the James River and watch the ferries going back and forth between Surry VA and Williamsburg. And it was...More

It is not a guided tour but there are many interpreters in each area to explain things and answer questions.
