It's a shame. One of the things we loved about going to Williamsburg was a visit to the pottery. It was pretty basic as far as the facilities involved but you got great deals. Low overhead and no frills meant you saved. Since our last visit, they have opened new buildings and updated everything, including the prices. We saw many... More

Williamsburg Pottery used to be an excellent place to go for bargains, but no more! This used to be genuine warehouse shopping where you could find unusual imported items as well as local honey, pottery, dishes, baskets, plants, etc. etc. etc. It was fun walking through and picking up inexpensive gift-wrap, imported foods, dried flowers or any of the hundreds... We still have everything you listed but the dried flowers, we did keep the silk floral though. Our products are much cheaper than the competitors. We have been rebuilt for quite some time. More

Yes, the old Williamsburg Pottery with all of the dust and dirt, and run down buildings I had shopped for 50 years is gone. However, I was pleased to see the new and improved Williamsburg Pottery is really not so much different in the merchandise they carry. From the outside it looks like individual stores, but that is deceiving in... More

We were very excited to find some local pottery as gifts. What a disappointment, very little pottery and most was made in China. There was one small stand of what they "labeled" as local pottery. Our expectation was to find locally produced pottery made in America, but most items were mass produced and made in China. The store name doesn't... More

Our handmade items are in the legacy shop located in housewares, building A. We have a huge selection of our handcrafted selections. In building C, our outdoor living and seasonal, that is where the mass produced Pots and Planters are. More

This was my first trip to the new Williamsburg Pottery and I was very disappointed. A lot of things they used to have are now gone. Variety is poor and selections are limited. From the outside it looks a lot smaller than it actually is. There are 3 different buildings that all run together. There were many, many empty shelves... More

Sorry for the disappointment but we changed many years ago , and for the better! The empty shelves are labeled for our new merchandise coming in this week as we sell out quite fast and are always restocking. More

This place looks like the Dollar Tree on a good day. So much junk in one place. Would not recommend.

I have been here several times in the past - first time, 30+ years ago and several times since. But it has been changed a lot with the renovation and I was disappointed in the products. In the past, it seemed you could purchase nice things at very good prices.

I used to love to visit the original pottery. It was a mixture of concrete and dirt floors. Many unusual buildings and a hodgepodge of products including their own pottery. You never knew what type of "bargains" you would find. Today's pottery consists of 3 very large buildings that look like a normal shopping center with a French shop design... More

Maybe if I hadn't had years of experience with the old Williamsburg Pottery, this new place wouldn't be so disappointing. The appearance is new, modernized, attractive, but what drew people to the lottery were the bargains, the amazing finds, which are apparently gone. I used to be able to find things I couldn't find anywhere else, (that's no longer the... More

I visited Williamsburg Pottery for the first time as part of a bus trip to Williamsburg. Given the name I figured they sold Pottery, so imagine my surprise when I walked through each building to find various household items at really good prices? We were given coupons for 20% off in each building on top of the already low prices.... More
