We struck lucky on Christmas Day ... there were several of the re-enactors on site..... we got a great insight into family life in the 1770s. Magnificent house.

After discovering that this house was closed, I asked the driver of the shuttle bus about it and he told me that it use to be a hands on location for children where they could experience life during colonial times but that is closed months...More
