Played the course in Feb on a cold and windy day, but the course was in good shape for the time of the year. This is a fun course to play especially when it greens up. Looking forward to the other course to reopen this summer.

Spotswood is a 9 hole executive type course that is part of the Golden Horseshoe golf club. It was a nice little course but not very well marked. We had some trouble finding the next hole in some cases but other then that it was a fun course.

We take golf vacations to the Williamsburg area every year. This was my first time playing the Green Course, but it won't be my last! Everyone, from the clubhouse to the snack bar to the starter and marshalls was as friendly as could be. Many of the courses in the area have suffered heat damage this summer, but from tee... More

Been 15 years since playing the Green Course. Still a GREAT time. Service is always good and the layout fun, enjoyable and beautiful. Highly recommended. The Gold Course is under renovations. Believe me, the Green Course holds its own.

I went with a group 8 guys. We played on the Green Course twice. Our first day was sunny but they had a lot of rain prior to us coming and the course was wet. Cart path only. Even with the condition the course played well. 2 days later we teed off at 1pm. it rained all night and up... More

My wife and I played the Green course which was in outstanding condition. The greens were firms and rolled true, the bunker sand was soft (which I verified repeatedly), the the fairways were excellent. The pro shop staff was friendly and eager to make sure that we had a great time. The only downside was the grounds crew. Several times... More

Our group played on the Green course. It was in the best condition of any of the 6 courses we played. Easy to sign in & courteous starters and rangers I would describe the course challenging but fair with many tee boxes to match skill levels. You will find all the bunkers, water, & elevation changes to test your abilities.... More

To say this is exceptional course is an understatement. The contour of the entire course was just outstanding, every hole is unique and different from the one before and the one that followed. if any hole was "normal" it was the last hole. All this character also made it rather difficult at times, never menacing but costly if you strayed... More

Any golfer visiting Williamsberg must put this course to the top of their list. Starting from the warm welcome from the well stocked golf shop I was sent to enjoy my warm up on the range. The range was immaculate with an abundance of top quality balls to hit down the fairway. From the 1st hole to the 18th green... More

Went for winter-golf on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised at the pace of play. The course was in good winter shape and being an old man, there is a combination of red-tee and white-tee holes to make holes more enjoyable. I can't make 410 yard par 4's and 600 yard par 5's. Shortening the holes like 17 and 18... More
