Sure, this is an outdated roadside attraction, but sweet and fun nonetheless. My son has always LOVED DINOSAURS, even dressed up as a Paleontologist for career day in the 1st grade, he's in high school now. We visited this attraction while on his spring break and had a great time reminiscing over his fondness for all things dinosaur. The gift... More

It was actually bigger than I thought it was going to be. The tickets are inexpensive and there are plenty of dinosaurs to see. There is a shark and a king kong that you can actually climb in/on to take pictures with. There are also informative signs with each dinosaur so you can actually learn about them too. There's a... I'm always looking for interesting places and things to photograph so when I found Dinosaur Land, I had to go. I can see this being a great place for children and the cost is very affordable. I took lots of pictures and enjoyed my walk.Saw lots of birds and even a squirrel sitting in King Kong's hand. The gift shop is... More

Straight out of a 1950-1960's road trip! It's a flashback to the old roadside attractions! It's campy, silly, and just plain fun. Sure some of the statues are I rough shape but the experience of this place and the story on how it came to be are so kitschy that it was worth the long drive we made to get... More

We are adults, but we had a blast checking out the cheesy dinosaur sculptures. They have started updating some of them, but many of the original ones remain. This is a great spot if you want to take goofy pictures or bring your kids (probably; we don't have any). Great fun!

Stopped in while driving because it was on the way. We opted to just look for the parking lot and did not pay to enter. If you have little kids, they might enjoy the stop.

I love a good roadside attraction, especially the old ones. This one did not disappoint. Some of the dinosaurs are old (and could use a touch up), but I thought it gave the place character. Lots of photo ops...especially if you like King Kong. I was surprised at how many dinosaurs there were. I thought there was a good variety,... More

Dinosaur Land is a hidden gem. Highly recommended for all ages. You can spend all day there, if you wanted. My family loved it and we are telling everyone to go. The gift shop is superb, as well as the ladies who run it. We plan to make this a yearly trip. The antique dinosaurs, as well as new ones,... More

Dinosaur Land had been a roadstop attraction here in Virginia for nearly fifty years. The path is self-guided, and the grounds are generally meant for families, but adults can indulge in a little nostalgia by understanding how much they would have loved this when they were kids. A small note to management: many of the dinosaurs are showing significant wear... More
