This place is so tranquil. I love my walks there be it morning or evening. It is peaceful and beautiful. I love to see the families there making memories with their families

Hiking along meandering tree-lined trails that meet fish stocked lake waters invites the hiker of all levels and the fisherman to explore and appreciate the beauty and serenity of nature.

There are about 2.5 miles total of pleasantly wooded trails around lakes with nice overlooks. Kayaking and fishing add to the experience. Trails are flat and easy. A relatively clean restroom is available at Shell Rd parking area. More for kids, walkers, and relaxed fishing...More

Virginia Beach did a great job fixing this place up. Love taking my dog for walks along all of the trails and enjoying the water overlooks.

Freshwater. These are drinking water reservoirs for Norfolk and Virginia Beach.
