Interesting small area which covers some notable people from Virginia in history, arts, sports and entertainment. There are a number of brick pillars along a walkway on 13th St. from Atlantic to Pacific Aves. with plaques with names and information about each person. There are...More

This was a nice way to honor famous people who were born in Virginia. Nice plaques that were short biographies of the person along with an etching of the person.

I stumbled upon this while searching for a museum near the beach. What an interesting and informative display and tribute to famous Virginians. Free admission.

We had a little time to kill waiting for dinner, was enough to stroll through here and read the interesting plaques

We took a few minutes and read the plaques in the Virginia Legends Walk. We learned a few tidbits of historical fact. The walk is not very long and doesn't take much time. It is a nice leisurely activity.

The Legends Walk is interesting... if you want to spend an hour to read posts, because it is the only thing there is. Let's say you do not go there if you have kids, as they will get bored really fast. Information on the posts...More

It's interesting to know of the people from Virginia but they could really spruce this up. Zzzz. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone but since it's a free walk through you won't waste any money

Many individuals are not aware that the walk starts when you go thru the archway. So many people stop and never enter the archway - this is usually a site for the street performers. I urge everyone to look beyond the arches and venture past...More

This is a pretty short walk that showcases some famous people from Virginia. There were quite a few presidents, generals, and entertainers. We read all of the plaques and spent about 10 minutes here. Best bet is to walk if you are staying nearby or...More

I would think a small dog in this park would be fine. We actually were the only people there when we toured it. Also there are people with dogs on the boardwalk, but not sure about places that you can take them to.
