We were here at the perfect time - dusk, uncrowded beach, people fishing off the pier. My kids were swimming in the water when my daughter thought she saw a shark - or maybe it was a dolphin...? It was about 15 feet away from...More

As a lifetime resident of Virginia Beach, our family has spent time along every ocean shore on our Virginia coastline. Our favorite spot still remains the same: Sandbridge Beach and community. The fishing pier is located at the southern end and provides a beautiful setting...More

I visited in the winter (December) therefore there was no charge for fishing off the pier, which was great. The pier however, closes at 5:00 pm during the winter, which was not great. Very nice little pier. I had to fight off the seagulls who...More
