Quiet place to remember our heroes - POW & MIA. There's a few plaques and small monuments. The Oceana air base is behind the memorial, and it's nice to see and hear the jets taking off - remembering the price of our freedom.

This is outside Naval Air Station Oceana, on a busy road. I was having a frantic day and moving fast to get to the next "need", when I saw the sign, said screw it, this needs my attention. I stopped, got out of the car, and reflected.........this is an important place to visit and talk to those that really need... More

We were pleased to have the honor to visit this display of a torch for the missing POW's and MIA's of Viet Nam.

This is a nice tribute to the veterans of that war that is situated close to the Ocean Naval Air Station that was host to a lot of pilots who flew combat missions during the Vietnam War. A number of them ended up as POW's and some were... More

If you're not paying attention, you'll drive right by it. The flame is burning bright and has a beautiful story behind it. There is plaque that tells you the history of the flame.

The flame stays lit!! It was such a great experience and had to see in homage to my grandfather. Vietnam Vet. We loved the greenery and how well kept it was. Spent some alone time there.

This a place of respect and wonderment of where the MIA men are at today. We also sat a shaded bench to watch the jets take off . The sound of freedom was thunderously screaming FREEDOM

Nice tribute to those fallen in service. Some benches to stop and take a break. There are no facilities here.
