Very interesting, the grounds are historical and pretty to look at. The "classes" are fun and the people are very nice who work there.

They have really improved the ARE in the past few years by adding a day spa and meditation walk/gardens. If you are into Edgar Cayce or holistic medicine, then you really should at least visit the book store. It's a serene place with lots of positive energy. You can feel the good vibes...even if you don't believe in Cayce's messages.... More

Fascinating history of Edgar Cayce and his readings to people regarding medical ailments. Extensive library for researching specific medical issues. Just amazing that some information we are practicing today, he talked about in the 1920's. Worth a visit.

This is a well maintained site with free films and lectures about the life and teachings of Edgar Cayce. They have a stone labyrinth and a spa. It would be best to look at a calendar to see what is available for the day you are going because the lectures change. We went to a lecture on dreams that was... More

I received an outstanding therapeudic massage. We very much enjoyed lunch in the cafe' off of the Spa lobby. They have a variety of healthy choices on the menu. Be sure to at least watch the video about Edgar Cayce, and check out the bookstore. The video and tours are free.

Stopped on a Sunday afternoon which worked out well. We walked up the "stairway to heaven" to their cafe which is located in the building (originally the hospital) that houses their spa. The porch where we sat has an ocean view and is very tranquil. We ordered two wraps/sandwiches, but actually they were big enough to share. You might want... More

This is interesting place to visit, they give tours daily at 2pm,no charge and they offer programs through the month. There is a mediation area that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean that was very serene.

The spa café is a satellite of The Leaping Lizard restaurant on Shore Drive, and the food comparably tasty. The cafe's porch overlooks the A.R.E. property, and with the ocean in the background it is one of the most pleasant lunch spots I have been to at the beach. The color palette chosen for the porch and dining tables is... More
