There was so much wildlife and fish to see inside and around the aquarium. It was a very educational experience, they have a wide variety of marine life, from sharks to sea turtles to fish, and a surplus of information about all of them. The...More

We came down from Williamsburg for a Mother's Day visit, and while the aquarium is expensive, it's worth the price of admission. We enjoyed seeing the otters and the robot movie was a hit with my son, who still talks about it months later. Perhaps...More

There was not a lot to see or do. $20 to get in and for what? It seemed like many of the interactive exhibits were broken and there really wasn't much to see. It definitely lacks the "aquarium" sea life that other locations have.........

My family and I were excited to go the aquarium with high expectations. I was expecting to see very large aquariums with lots of sea life. Not so. The sea turtles were cool to see as well as the stingrays.

A great place to take the kids and the adults also... to get to see some of our ocean fiends up close and get to know more about the sea animals that we do not get to see everyday...

We went on a Wednesday... it was crowded... but I would agree, staff handle it well. I think there were a couple buses there from camps and what not. I would bet that Sundays are less crowded.

There is a parking lot adjacent to the Virginia Aquarium, and an additional lot just across the street. Parking is free.
