Well organized little museum with lots of interesting exhibits and a nice selection of books and crafts related to the local area for sale in the shop area. Well worth a visit!

Popped into this lovely little museum by chance only to discover loads of local history laid out in beautiful displays. Learn about the paddle steamer and a guy how got stung but a barb of a sting ray. Lots to see and a neat little...More

This lovely little museum has an array of exhibits that cover life along the Rappahannock River from prehistoric times through mid-20th century. There are some beautiful antique clothes on display and the other exhibits are very well constructed. Volunteer docent staff is very friendly.
