Went to the find Fairy Stones down the road from the park. Decided to stop by the park and stretch our legs. Everything is well marked, clean and well kept! Park rangers have always been very nice and can answer any questions that we have about the park and its history! Visiting the park and the fairy stone trail is... More

Had $10 per person fee. With it we received noise makers, hats, plenty of appetizer food, soda, DJ, dancing, tv to watch New York Ball drop. I would suggest to Fairystone to place better route signs on their road to find the way in and out.

Fairy Stone is a great park. Cabins are unique, old school and spread out in 4 different areas. Try to get a lakeside one if you can. Be aware that the cabins do not have fire rings. You are allowed to have an outside fire in the provided grill though, which is a random place to have a campfire, 3... More

We arrived at the park right as the ranger was going to take a group hunting for Fairy Stones. We waited at the visitor center which is small but has a lot of fun exhibits. Marty, the ranger, was really nice and you can tell he loves what he does. We drove to the hunting area and after about an... More

The cabins built in the 1930s by the CCC are beautiful. The kitchen was basic but well equipped with an electric stove and full refrigerator. The stone work is fantastic. There is a nice lake for canoeing or fishing, with a large, sandy beach. The beach also has a wi-fi hotspot. The trails are well marked and range from short,... More

We visited the park on a very hot October day so opted for a short easy hike. We did the Lake Shore trail and part of the Turkey Ridge trail. This was mostly through trees so we were able to enjoy the Autumn colours. The park is quite large and well maintained. We would have spent more time hiking there... More

Loved Fairy Stone State Park. We stayed in one of the cabins and loved it. Could see the lake from our front porch. Loved looking for all the pennies in our cabin as well as going to collect fairy stones. Definitely will be going back. Very peaceful here.

Beautiful park; we did the ranger program on finding Fairy Stones, then paid for a workshop to make a necklace from what we found. There is a beach/swimming area (extra charge) that was very popular (but not overly crowded even though it was a hot Saturday). We'd like to come back when it's a bit cooler out and hike the... We visited the Fairy Cross Stone State park during a light drizzle. It was a little wet but perfect for collecting the Staurolite as the rain helps to wash away the thick clay exposing the stones. Tools are not permitted but you really don't need them, the stones are scattered all over the surface. Most of them are very tiny,... More

The lake was great with the forest critter themed🏹 water playground. We rented the paddle boat at a very cheap rate... They were more strenuous then I thought lol. Camping was great even with the hot temps. Bath house was clean and very functional. Love the gift shops and funnel cake! We played in natural waters and found lots of... More
