We were the first brazilians to be there, so they told us. We were very happy for knowing this place as we really appreciate the efforts done to keep the legacy and memory of such a huge character of American history. The tour was good and the money spent was really worth it.

This is a nice, small museum. It does seem a little expensive for the amount on display. The library is not open as part of the museum tour.

This visit was successful because our guide was great. She knew all the details and had a delivery that kept it interesting. There is not a lot of "Woodrow" in the childhood home, but it does give you an idea of how a white preacher family lived at the turn of the 20th century. The museum portion had a nice... More

The Woodrow Wilson presidential library and birthplace certainly deserves a place in history since President Wilson was such an important person in our history. The docents were excellent and very informative. The house tour gave us excellent historical information for the time period.

We have lived in Staunton for 18 years and we finally made a trip to WWPL while our kids were on spring break. There is a short video at the beginning of the tour that was informational and gave some details of Woodrow Wilson's life. Unlike many Presidential home tours, this tour is more about Wilson's family and their life... More

There is a movie (about 20 min.) to see in the gift shop, then you go on a tour of Wilson's birth house. The man in the gift shop was extremely pleasant and gave us lots of interesting tidbits about Woodrow Wilson. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out many interesting facts about the President, his upbringing, and... More

The library in Staunton is very interesting but don't go expecting something on the scale of the Clinton or Bush libraries. There is a film on the Wilson presidency which is very well done, as well as a tour of his home. But the most interesting part of the visit was the small museum which chronicles his life and his... A visit to the birthplace (next door) is not complete without viewing Wilson's Presidential Library. When compared to others, it's somewhat small. However, it packs in many interesting exhibits. Don't miss the WWI trench experience. A visit in April 2017 was especially interesting given the US declared war on Germany 100 years ago on April 6, 1917.
