If you are looking for something outdoorsy to do WCP is the place to be. It is a fun and beautiful dog friendly, stroller friendly, runner, walker, romance filled, nature enthusiast, bird watching, picnicking, child friendly, parent friendly park and a whole lot more. They have a short & long kiddie slide in a kiddie park area, a fantastic picnick... More

My wife and I walk our two Vizslas in the park every morning (weather permitting). There is a small (8-10) herd of deer in the park, almost tame enough to walk up to even with our dogs. It's not uncommon to see bucks in late summer and fall. Trail is well maintained, quiet and beautiful any time of year. If... More

This is my fave place to visit for relaxation, exercise, photography and family leisure time. The park feels so far away, yet it's right in the middle of Smithfield and all the town has to offer. - The trails are beautiful and peaceful and also very well maintained - with plenty of sitting benches, lookouts and some pretty spectacular views... This is my Go-to spot. I can wind down from a busy day by taking a quaint quiet walk in this park, with a stunning view. It's also a great spot for photos to be taken. Beautiful park

A great place to enjoy the views of all things smithfield. Walking trails are clean and the way everything is just peaceful makes this a plus. Great place to take wedding photos and portraits.

We spent about an hour walking along the trails and bridges in this amazing find in Smithfield. It was peaceful, but well traveled as we passed dozens of people all along the trail. Maps are placed throughout the park to help guide you along your way. The mileage tips were helpful. I only wish I lived closer so I could... More

The castle is not a castle. It was an older house that the public is not allowed in. The trails were nice to walk. The dog park was new. They are doing a lot of improvements, but there is not much to it now.

Wonderful under any conditions. Walking, running, bird watching, or paddle board - all activities will be in a clean, well kept and peaceful park. The dog park, which is the best in the region, is really two parks; a big one for big dogs and another for the smaller guys.
