Saw the Byrds Sweetheart of the Rodeo 50th tour. Could not of been a more enjoyable place to see the band. Great view, great sound and awesome players. Would love to return for another show.

We had a wonderful experience as always at the Jefferson Center. Opera Roanoke and the lovely subdued atmosphere of the Jefferson Center never fails to delight. The cast, the sets, the costuming, the orchestra were all magnificent!

Great music in a beautifully restored venue. Acoustics excellent! We had seats in the balcony and there was not enough leg room. I am only 5' 7" tall, but felt wedged in that seat.

I was there for the California Honeydrops concert but, most recently I saw Tosca by Opera Roanoke. It was a fabulous performance and we had an amazing evening. The venue is always clean and the staff is friendly.

I attended the Jimmy Herring concert there on 8/5/17. The venue is an old theater that was fairly comfortable and had good sound. I would definitely see another show there providing it was the right musician/entertainer.

When locals think of the Jefferson Center they envision the Shaftman Performance Hall a concert, performance, and lecture venue as its primary function. There are, however, some community organization offices and Fitzpatrick Hall, the old auto repair shop, used for community events such as weddings,...More
