I first went there to watch my 2 year old granddaughter's art program. I was fascinated by the huge rainbow flags hanging in the opening space. They are gone now, replace by another exhibit. It is small, which gives time to just walk around and...More

This is a beautiful facility. Their exhibits can be a tad sparce depending on who is showing, but always a good variety. There is no admission. They do ask for donatons. There are also art projects for kiddos to participate in if they so choose.

This museum is truly amazing! The building itself is an architectural site. The exhibits are always interesting and well developed and curated. The gift shop has some great artistic gifts too!

Paintings, sculptures, photographs, objects - - fascinating. Each room has plenty to see, but the rooms aren't claustrophobic; each piece is worthy of study. I asked if I could take photos of some of the pieces, which is how I remembered my favorite, by photographer...More

The Taubman curators do an excellent job combining exhibits that build on the existing interests of visitors with those that expand them. Their collection really is rich and varied, and what is on view in galleries changes frequently, causing us to want to visit often....More

There is on street parking, but it is limited. There are several parking garages near by along with lots of restaurants.
