A well maintained trail through the farms and a few exurbs. Easy grades (old train line), great scenery, and shade trees, with restaurants, wineries and breweries within brief diversions from trail. A can't miss cycle

I love riding on the W&OD Trail. Good exercise! Park in Purcellville and ride the trail towards Leesburg. Just be careful for crazy car drivers at the road crossings.
