Worth stopping off at. The items are reasonably priced for the work that has gone into them. This shop is located right next door to the chocolate factory

These trees are amazing and massive. Although they were cut down years ago they are now protected and the wood they are using is from reclaimed trees which fell thousands of years ago. There is a staircase to the first floor carved from a trunk of wood. Amazing!

Definitely worth stopping in to check this lace out. We had a look in whilst in on our honeymoon and fell in love with a free-form swamp kauri bowl. It was a tad over budget and they offered us a 10% discount and even had it shipped home for us. Very friendly service and we are so pleased to have... More

This is definitely worth a visit. If you are kiwi or foreign. There are beautiful sculptures and wood that are very hard to source now. Don't miss the Kauri staircase. First place I have ever eaten a meat and kumara pie!

Simple beautiful craftsmanship of the native Kauri wood, plenty examples to suit every pocket, stunning pieces of highly polished kauri that would graze any wall in the home, well worth the visit , just wish we had more luggage space for some of the fine pieces on offer.

The lady who served me was really nice, very friendly and helpful. I bought an ornament and a small purse. There were many kauri wood items to buy from small ornaments to very large and ornate pieces. There were jewellery and trinkets too and the quality was good. The colour of the kauri wood I needed had to be quiet... More

It's easy to drive past and not notice, but keep your eyes open and look for the building because it is certainly worth a visit. An amazing array of unique wood products that are sure to satisfy and delight. Made on the premises ( you can see the workshop through the window in the shop), they offer something for everybody... Have been there before but there is a new shop assistant who was much friendlier and I thought the layout of the shop had really improved. The range of goods were excellent and weren't as expensive as a lot of other Kauri shops. The items were presented lovely. A great place to visit.

I bought a new chopping block here... it has a beautiful range of wood gifts. The staff are friendly and even if you are simply going in there to see what can be done with the local woods...this is worth a trip. This has some unique gifts and locally made work.
