Makana Chocolate Boutique is a delightful cafe full of delicious treats. We were treated to a freshly brewed pot of leafed tea and strong aromatic coffee. The slices are all hand-made daily and painstakingly delicately decorated by proud artisans. We saw them if action! We...More

Fantastic kokako coffee! Underated NZ coffee soooooooooooo good. Had the almond and citrus cake! OMG! Soft and tasty. Others had the sugar rush. Divine food. Rich and slightly expensive. But an experience that is worth stopping in for!

Lovely selection of cakes. Great for afternoon or morning tea treat. Not just chocolate other choices available. Ice creams too but no hooky pokie New Zealand favourite, shame.

Staff was welcoming with offer of samples. Bought 3 boxes of Macadamia brittle and dark chocolate bark. Staff was able to advise best by date. It was interesting to watch staff creating shortbread in the factory. All products were well displayed. Delicious!
