Loved the Patuna Chasm walk. I'm not fit, have shocking balance and scare easily when it comes to physical feats but the incredible scenery totally made up for that. You certainly get far more than $25 worth of views and anecdotes from this experience. In hindsight, I'd take a swimsuit, dry sacks and more food/drink next time. Plus a dry... More

Love the views and adventures... this is not your ordinary farm 😉😉😉 Rapelling, dipping into the cold water, muds and hiking... Fantastic views especially in the caves (or looks like cave to me 😃😃😃)

We drove over for the day from Wellington to have a look at the Patuna Chasm. Loved it. On arrival at the Patuna Farm you have a safety briefing and sign a waiver. The Owners give you an instruction sheet and direct you up the road a few km to the track start point. This was a little difficult to... More

We have visited Patuna Farm Adventures twice now and loved it both times. While they offer a range of activities, we have only walked the Patuna Chasm but this is a brilliant outdoor adventure for the whole family. you start by walking across picturesque farm land for an hour or so before you come to a rock formation scoured out... Maureen took us all on a beautiful trek, answering all our questions and making our young kids feel really safe. Our oldest said it was the best day ever! Afterwards, maureen showed them how to wash and brush the horses they'd ridden. Great place, lovely guide.

We've just come back from the 4 hour chasm walk with 3 kids (almost 5 year old walking, 2 y/o in backpack, 4 month old in front pack). It was awesome, albeit slightly hairraising at some points! If you normally do a good amount of walking & are happy coping with slippery surfaces at times, along with the heights of... More

Great walk, but go prepared. The walk in across farm land and regenerating bush can be a bit boring, and need to be happy walking along narrow pathways. Once down the ladder, the fun starts. The chasm is amazing, but go prepared to get wet and you need to swim though some places. But well worth it. Great day out... More

I went out with a group last weekend without knowing much about this Chasm walk and only knowing a little of what to expect. I was cursing the first hour as I do not have a great base fitness but I still enjoyed myself and the scenary was amazing. Once we climbed down the ladder into the river part that's... More

My husband I did a horse trek on Saturday, for my birthday. We ended up being with another couple which worked out fine. Anika (who took the trek) was excellent; friendly, calm and patient. She catered to all of our different levels, abilities and desires. My husband has never actually been on a horse before and loved it. We will... More
