The Seppeltsfield Village is based around the unique and irreplaceable Seppeltsfield fortified wine collection. All our actions aim to meet the guiding principle of "sympathetic development" in harmony with Joseph and Benno Seppelts' original ideas. This means that whatever new activities we undertake at Seppeltsfield, they should respect both tradition and environment.

Excellent customer service throughout - very friendly. We did the birth tasting tour. Bill was our guide - and he was excellent! Loved the history behind the winery and obviously loved the unique experience of drinking a drop from our birth year - amazing experience....More

Most of the wines that we were tasting were really good. My absolute favorite was the tawny. Since then I have developed a strong love for any type of tawny I can get my hands on anywhere I go. I did not buy their most...More

Visited the winery , saw something I decided later to buy online. Emailed and had the very good fortune to have Jennifer Schmidt answer my email and go out of her way to provide information and make for an easy sale. Follow up service to...More

I have been on wine tours around the world and this certainly gets into the top quartile. Tastings are the only real way to identify what you prefer from a vineyard and places which restrict you to three or four tastings normally fail to make...More

well worth stopping for while to sample the nice wines. Reasonable prices. Also allow time to look around the winery and gardens. While we did not stop at the restaurant, we did see the quality of meals coming out from the kitchen- all looked very...More

We stood and waited for about 15 minutes being ignored by the tasting staff. Sure it was busy but rule 101, smile and acknowledge. No one minds waiting but bring ignored is rude. The sparkling wine lacked flavour and was too bubbly. The riesling tasted...More

What an amazing vineyard & winery. It has everything in one place. Cellar door, restaurant, cafe, gift shop, parkland. The grounds & history here is amazing. The staff in the Cellar Door, were knowledgeable, not over friendly - but professional. Really worth the visit.
