We completed the Western Brook Pond tour yesterday. It was simply amazing! It began with a 20 minute drive from Rocky Harbour and it took us about 35 - 40 minutes to walk in. The trail is quite an easy hike. If you have any...More

Lovely tour of Western Brook Pond, educational about geologic events and just stunning views. The walk to the tour was also enjoyable with great signage along the way, but the tour is so popular sometimes parking can be hard to find

We booked reservations a day in advance. We were told 12:30 pm was a good time to go to give fog a chance to clear. It was sunny the day we went with pleasant temperatures around 17 C. The hike to the boat was an...More

It is a relatively easy 3 km trek into Western Brook Pond. The boat ride is about 2 hours and the 11-year old in our group got antsy as the time went on. Views are spectacular. Boat was far too overloaded which made it difficult...More
