Iceberg Quest Ocean Tours has daily sightseeing boat tours departing from Twillingate, an outport community on the north east coast, internationally known as, "The Iceberg Capital of the World!". This is a land that is both familiar and mythical, where strangers are friends, and the unexpected is routine. There is no better place on earth to view 12,000 year old icebergs up close and personal. Every year the migrating humpback whales return to play and showcase their newly born calves. The world's closest iceberg viewing occurs during May and June, while the world's largest group of migrating whales visit our waters between June and August. Visit Canvas Cove Bistro and Twillingate Art Gallery on our premises. Two hour tours departing daily at 9:30am, 1:00pm, 4:00pm and 7:00pm with traditional and local music, snacks and full bar service. Screechins' on request. Private charters and special packages available. Experience the wonder of the rugged coastline and pristine waters as we take our guests to a place beyond their imagination. Step aboard ...Experience the WONDER...Your MEMORIES will last a LIFETIME!

I have been fortunate enough to have taken Iceberg Quest Tours twice in the last couple of years! Once out of Twillingate with my family and once again last fall in St. John's with a.bunch of friends visiting from Ireland. Both experiences were nothing short of perfect! The boats are as clean as a whistle as well as large and... More

We did a wonderful boat tour with Iceberg Quest in June. We were fortunate that there were a number of icebergs and the Captain and crew took us to each one! The Captain also gave us a great history of Twillingate harbour. We had an amazing morning on the boat and I would highly recommend this tour in Twillingate. An... More

We was on board Icebergquest II in July, summer time at the height of iceberg season. The boat tour was very pleasant. The captain and crew were very friendly the minute we hopped onto the boat. A great description of the harbour and the surrounding landmarks while heading out to chase for the icebergs. It was a very calm day... More

The weather was poor for boating BUT the restaurant on the quay was wonderful. It had just been opened by a new owner who was there to see that all the patrons were being served well. The meals were well cooked with huge servings. The shrimp on rice, bruschetta, and fish soup were fantastic.

Dont waste your $$ if going in late July or August to this place. Icebergs are long gone, and there are no whales. We went July 31. They did tell us before hand there are no icebergs,; however said that there "may be Orca's in the area---they are funny creatures". Knowing this, the captain could have tried to make this... More

We recently took the Iceberg Quest Ocean Tour from the Twillingate harbour. Everyone was terrific from top to bottom and the experience was great. We got to see the last "straggler" Iceberg in the area "up close & personal" It was unbelievable & so Beautiful. Couldn't stop taking pictures. On the way back into harbour, there was contact with another... More
