This place is full of history and a joy to wander round, regardless of whether you have a loved one buried there. The grounds are very well maintained, varied and extremely interesting. Visit both sides of Cemetery Pales to see everything.

This is one of the larger UK cemeteries maintained by CWGC. It’s well manicured but not overly so. Graves from different nations. Oasis of calm and reflection

This is a beautiful place to walk. Split into two areas of new and old gives you the choice of structure or more open exploration. Photographers beware you might be asked to show your permission to take photographs. Very worth a visit though.
