Lots of history to see from our own town. Really good interactive stuff to see and do. We were only passing and called in and very glad we did.

Visited with our three granddaughters ages 8, 5 & 5. Had a delicious lunch in the cafe - great choice and very reasonably priced. The museum itself was excellent with so many hands on activities for the children that we only managed to fit in...More

I spent a fantastic 2 hours going around the exhibits finding out much of the history of Rochdale, I thoroughly recommend this

Nice museum with hands on sections. Usually has activity days in school holidays. Nice café. Well worth a visit

Popped in for a quick look around whilst had an hour free .the museum is great and very informative. Well laid out and interactive . Great clean well decorated for the age . Then went into the cafe which had good seating and decent choice...More

A short walk down the hill from the Best Western hotel to visit the museum was well rewarded with a fascinating hour and a half insight into Rochdale's interesting history. Well worth it and a good base for our tram ride to Manchester's national football...More

Travelling around, most reasonably sized towns have a Museum explaining the social history of the area and Touchstones is up there with the best.
