I forgot how good this place was. Pantomime was brilliant and funny. Staff were helpful and friendly. Seats good wherever you were sat. Parking plentiful. Well organised and hosted event. I will definately be back.

It's was snowing and we set off to the panto feeling very excited !!!! Typical Rochdale weather because unfortunately this was the Easter and not the Christmas panto! The theatre is easy to find , plenty of parking , concession stand is reasonably priced and the seating is spacious with every seat having a great view. The bar at the... More

A few years ago Christmas Eve and a visit to a Pantomine at The Gracie Fields theatre was always a treat. A wonderful and magical experience and it was with these memories I booked to take my grandchildren. This performance was mediocre at best. The costumes were poor, one in particular inappropriate for a young audience, ie the ugly sister... More

To be honest I am disappointed. I think we had the only two children dressed up but I know that's not to do with the panto. When it first started I thought oh jeez. I thought gosh you can tell it's the last show. No one had the energy or enthusiastic Ness. The opening song and dance let it down... More

I went to see Sally Morgan here, with my Sister and my Daughter and a really great night. The theatre was just the right size for such an event. We ordered pre-paid interval drinks as we went in and they were waiting for us as promised, lovely, no standing waiting at the bar. Lots of easy free parking. Would easily... More

I've visited the theatre numerous times both in my capacity as a Parent Governor of Redwood School and as a family. I find access can sometimes be a little difficult with a wheelchair but the staff are always on hand to guid you to the small lift that allows wheelchair users to access the theatre. Attending award giving ceremonies is... More

Terrible acoustics, very unfriendly, unhelfpul and obstructive staff, filthy toilets. Glad I do not have to work here very often any more.

Only theatre in Rochdale and is not in the town centre. Attached to Oulder Hill School. The theatre itself is big enough. The productions are few and far between. One pantomime a year and a few comedians, not much else.

Hello, Thank you for your review. Even though we are outside of the town centre, we enjoy good transport links. We also benefit from a large, well lit and free parking facility. We have a number of events throughout the year, an annual pantomime, annual musical production presented by Rochdale Amateur Operatic Society, as well as a number of comedians... More
