So I've visited here several times at their evening restaurant Beast recently and have been recommended it to every one I know. That's how much I like this place. Every meal has been excellent. The staff are fabulous, they're polite, courteous, helpful and a credit to the place. I asked for an extra slice of bread with my cheeseboard and... More

Me and my friends visited last week, for a day trip out. We took a look round the farm and round the shop, and then had a lovely meal in the cafe. the meal was lovely. Lovely drinks, lovely food and lovely service. (Very clean in the cafe too) In the shop we was served by a young gentleman Kian.... More

We have been visiting Farmer Copleys from It's earliest days and have always been very happy with the products and service there. I recently had a small complaint about the quality of some potatoes and alerted them by email, I had an immediate and sensible replay as expected and my concerns were sorted out on the spot. Our last visit... More

First visit to the new cafe. Only a couple of minor quibbles. The soup served wasn't very warm, as I am not one for sending food back I ate anyway, and the crispy vegetables were missing from the sausage and mash, this one we only realised after the fact when we looked at menu. Other than that everything was top... More

Great looking farm shop, apart from where the Moo cafe has moved from. Unfortunately the chilli sausage roll I bought just tasted of garlic, the pork pie topping was bitter, I bought a hot cross bun loaf that was one day past it's use buy date and when I got home I'd bought a beef dripping with today's date on!... The good thing about Farmer Copley's both in the farm shop and the Moo Café (we have sty to visit Beast) is that they have wonderful, fresh, often-local (and when it is, it's usually theirs) produce. The coffee in the café is excellent, cakes are good and the food -for meat eaters- is apparently lovely. Unfortunately they have an extremely... More

I am sorry about the menu currently not being to your liking, however we change it very regularly and will take your comments on board. However you are mistaken with the tea. We offer a pot of loose leaf tea which is ready made or you can have Farmers Tea which is a cup with teabag on the side. The... More

We are only more expensive than some supermarkets. Not all by far. The quality offers great value More

Locals whine about this place being expensive.... it is for Pontefract. But.... it's definitely no more pricey than any other comparable farm shop/cafe. The produce to take home is great, especially the 'ready meal' type counter where they cook fresh meals and box them up for you. There always seems to be something on one month to the next and...
