This place is in the middle of a large one way system and not many people realise it is there as it is surrounded by traffic. It was founded around the year 1145 and parts of the present building go back to the 12th Century....More

I finally visited this local historic sit’s in the centre of Ilford - what a lovely visit! Knowledgeable volunteers can tell you the history of the site, the stained glass windows and ceilings are beautiful. I’ll be attending an actual service at some point soon...More

The open days provide interesting information on the buildings history (and that of Ilford itself). Whilst there has been a massive rebuilding of the property, there is still much to take in.

Visited for a coffee morning in aid of McMillan Nurses, Cakes and savoury items provided and a raffle. Pleasant people and surroundings.
