Beer sampling and off-sales in the old tradition. Tours available, and beers of every strength and sweetness. It's all pretty powerful stuff, so no driving after a tasting session!

Visited Dark Star Brewery today returning from a business trip to Brighton. HopHead being one of my favourite beers, it was a must to visit and purchase a few goodies. Siobhan was in the shop, and most welcoming, she certainly knew her stuff, and we chatted about the beers and availability, I was offered a couple of tasters, HopHead, which... More

Great brewery shop, friendly staff, nice and reasonably priced beer! Totally recommend. Try their Sicilian ale if you want something summary and light!

Although this isn't really a brewery tour, you stand in the centre and the guy talks to you, it's definitely worth doing. A relatively small brewery this fabulously crafty beer is in ready supply as you are taken through the brewing process with an expert and a brewer. Though the talk was a little dry in places it was an... More

We went here to buy and try some local beers. We were impressed with the friendliness and expert advice. My son (an enthusiastic home brewer) was shown round the working part of the brewery and we had several beers to sample before we made our final choice. Will certainly be going g back for more beers

This small local brewery has a beer for pretty much any taste within it's range. Monthly specials keep things interesting. The shop is a great place to view and sample the range (but you will end up buying more than you intended). They have a beer club offering monthly beer and regular events together with discounts on purchases. The team... More
