Nice little museum that tells the local history. Knowledgeable attendant. Gives a little odd the ghost history.

The guide was very helpful. This is a typical local history museum, with some quirky artifacts. Worth visiting if you are in Occoquan.

...it's very informative. Quite a collection of stuff about the town of Occoquan, and some real oddities. The volunteer lady at the door is knowledgeable, once you get her to open up...Free. Take you about 5 minutes.

This modest size museum looks at the history of this area before, during, and after the Civil War. Entry is free, but they do accept donations. It is a nice break from the shops and eateries in Occoquan. For those collecting National Park cancellations, bring...More
