Great day out for all the family, be prepared for big slopes.
Aug 2021
We had a great day, with a cooling breeze, and occasional sunshine.
More shelter on the pathways would have been welcome, although there are plenty of shady areas. (These are not near each other).
Some fabulous play areas for the little ones, cafe's in different areas, close to the play areas, the café by the play are for the 'littlest' ones has little or no shade.

Let down...
Aug 2021
We went as a family for the day on 22nd Aug as the promotion regarding Night Glow made it look very appealing.....what an anti-climax.... apart from seeing a few balloons inflate/deflate leading up to the expected Grande Finale, it was all over in about 10 - 15mins.... could have done it at dusk & saved us another painful 2 hours of waiting with 2 x 8 year olds.
It was made worse because the toboggan run had broken down & the expected re-opening never happened.

Falconry display was good & the Falconer was very patient & informative with everyones questions.

Overall, expected more to do for the kids other than 'tree top' climbing frames!

Great family day out
Aug 2021 • Family
Robin hill is a fantastic day out, we went on the Saturday which was sadly a very wet day, which as Robin hill is so big and we weren’t near anywhere under cover we got completely soaked but we wanted to catch the show so stayed for the afternoon And caught the 4.30 show which was brilliant, but please don’t take dogs we saw 2 being brought in and swiftly removed looking terrified.
We used the tickets again later in the week when the weather was better as the kids ( big ans little) wanted to go on the toboggan ride a firm favourite after the pirate ship and squirrel run.
All in all I would recommend Robin hill to anyone fab day out when the weather is good but if not go well prepared with waterproofs.

There is plenty to do here for a family during your day.
Aug 2021
We visited Robin Hill Country Park with our daughter and two grandchildren (aged 5 & 10), on a weekday in August. We had pre ordered our tickets in advance (a joint one with Blackgang Chine), which gives a small saving on the prices you would pay on the day and also guarantees entry. We have visited the park here before about 20 years previous with our own children and were interested to discover how much we could remember from our earlier visit and also how much it had changed in the intervening period.
There is plenty to do here for a family during your day. The park supplies each visitor with a map to navigate with and our first port of call was to the ‘Cows Express’ and the ‘Colossus’ ride before moving onto ‘Duckdown’ play village. Following this we watched a display of birds of prey with the birds actually flying just above the heads of the crowd which the children loved.
We had opted to take a picnic with us and we were able to eat this seated on a bench in ‘Africa Adventure’ which also has a small play area, a café and toilet facilities. With lunch finished, we moved on to a series of Japanese water gardens and man-made lakes which were nice to walk in before arriving at the Toboggan run (additional payment required).
The Toboggan run is very popular and here we encountered our first real queue of the day though it does move slowly forward. It is certainly worth a go and I took my granddaughter down the ride which is quite long and exciting though don’t forget to brake as you reach the bottom! Near here you will also find another café area and toilets and some smaller slides for young children to enjoy.
Next up was the ‘squirrel run’ a substantial elevated playground for children (and adults) to play on before reaching the ‘Jungle Heights’ another elevated playground of brightly coloured nets strung above ground which the children enjoyed playing on.
This just about filled our day which considering that we were here ten minutes before entry and left after park closure speaks volumes.
We had booked diner at the ‘Hare & Hounds’ public house next door but noted that at the time the park closes, there was a significant queue to leave the car park so factor this in if you intend to stay in the park until the end and have something else to do immediately afterwards.
In summary an enjoyable day revisiting Robin Hill after a gap of nearly 20 years. Families can certainly enjoy a full day’s entertainment here and there’s something to appeal to most interests from young and older children and adults.

A lovely day out
Sep 2021 • Family
We have a 9 year old boy and a 7 year old girl and had a great day out. We arrived shortly before 11 and expected to leave in the early afternoon but the children didn’t want to leave until we had to as it was shutting. Particular favourites were the Toboggan Run (his) which he did twice, despite the queueing, and the Colossus (hers) which again we did twice (dad included!). In terms of cost, entertainment and value for money this was a great experience.

Good day out, with bonus of being able to return for free within 7 days
Sep 2021 • Family
Excellent day out, its over a large area so lots of walking. The toboggan ride is great although you do have to pay extra. It is really a fair weather place as all outdoors with little shelter. Ideal for families who like climbing frames and being active. A real bonus that it is dog friendly too.

Room for improvement
Aug 2021
It's a lovely setting and is on the right lines as a sort of theme park in the countryside. Good for families with young children but nothing for moody teenagers. The highlight being the toboggan run which was thrilling for Grandad as much as grandsons but why the extra charge on top of the admission? Bit naughty to get the card machine out at the start of the ride. The tractor ride was packed and the food station understaffed so there are issues for management to sort out. An unexpected surprise was the Lion King / Jungle book tribute act with the puppet animals. The children loved it but Simon Cowell left early on.

Beautiful setting, a bit hilly
Aug 2021 • Family
Spent a full day at this beautiful park with our 11 and 15 year old and loved it. Wonderful setting with lots of hidden walks, sculptures, open spaces, play areas, treetop walkways, water gardens, live music on a floating stage, falconry displays and more. Rode the to9boggan at a small extra cost, watched Brainiac Live in the amphitheatre (another small cost) and a fire show in the evening which was free. Food and drink available in many areas (food wait was pretty long as it was on the whole island this year). Don't expect a theme park but if you love woodland walks and beautiful gardens this is a must do day out.

Needs more for older kids
Aug 2021
For the admission price, there's not really a lot to do at Robin Hill for children over a certain age. There's a couple of rides, a few exhibits and a number of themed playgrounds but not much else. For the cost of getting in I was expecting a bit more and was surprised that an additional cost was required for the toboggan run, which was arguably the best part. There are some nice gardens and water features for the older generation and as a family, it is a nice day out. The 4D cinema was fun and the Bird of Prey display was excellent, but for the price of admission they should think about adding a least one more ride.

Excellent day out.
Aug 2021
Excellent day out. Visited with grandchildren aged 13 and 9. Loads to see and do. Paid extra for Brainiac which the children described as amazing.
The falconry display was another highlight of the day.
Although expensive we considered it to be good value for money. We had travelled over from the mainland for the day but if your are on the island you can visit as many times in a week as you want.
I would say that our 13 year old enjoyed it but I think it wouldn’t appeal as much to older teens.
