....of Gallo-Roman artifacts, temporary exhibitions, historic cars, and sculpture garden. We went to see the exhibition of Pierre Soulages work...very intriguing what he does with black. The outdoor sculpture garden is very pleasant to wander around. A nice touch is the tree identifiers.
We enjoyed the wonderful venue, despite the cloudy weather the walk in the garden filled with contemporary sculptures and beautiful trees was worth the travel. The Soulages exhibition was not so exciting but I understand that this is a very respected artists by the host....More
Soulages exhibit on now, as of June 15/18. He painted huge all black canvases. Quite a variety of his work. Photo display of him, as well.

The reputation of the Gianadda Foundation is well deserved. If you are going to visit for a special exhibition do not make the mistake to overlook the Roman artefacts on the upper level. The archaeological finds are stunningly beautiful.
