This is the best pick your fruit farm in the Rappahanock area. It is a beautiful berry farm for all kinds of berries and the kids get to hand feed the very smart goats. Get their ice cream cones and buy from their home made preserves if you don’t want to make your own from the ones you just picked. I go when they don’t have festivals to not be around crowds. Just a jump from the winery too!…

We picked the most amazing blackberrys here last week. Some were as big as my thumb and delicious! Friendly staff and very smart goats! Great time here, don’t miss it

Westmoreland Berry Farm is a fun place to take the family to pick wonderful blackberries (and other berries at different times of the year). The vines are bursting with large, sweet berries. I like how you can drive you car through the farm to get to the picking area if you want to. This is a great help to people that may have mobility issues. Families with small kids would love this farm. There is a play area as well as live animals - mostly goats.…

On my first visit, a surprise in all. Medium-sized, convenient farm, not crowded and very pleasant people working the concessions. A good array of locally sourced food stuffs are available for purchase: Stratford Hall honey (a little surprised a working farm would not have bee hives of their own); Virginia peanuts; and assorted relishes, jams, jellies from the farm. After picking blueberries and black berries with a scenic overlook of the beautiful Rappahanock River, we quenched our thirst with fresh fruit-infused teas at the snack bar. A great place for families to enjoy a day at the farm and to pet the cheerful goats. Can’t wait to return for peach season.…
